I am somewhat addicted to stationery and this blog makes no secret of that. So when I saw these ridiculously beautiful pens on Reddit, I had to find some. At first, our research showed that they were not out in the UK yet. However, unexpectedly, I have managed to purchase some and, spoiler alert, they’re awesome. Ladies and gentlemen, I present the Mitsubishi Pencil Company Emott Ever Fine Pens.
Aren’t they just the most stunning little things you’ve ever seen?
Easter’s here and that means yet more limited edition bath bombs from Lush. Who knew you could bathe in so many symbols of this time of year? A lot of people have their favourite bath bombs and like to stick with them, which is why I’m reviewing as many of these limited release items as I can. I like to see if any of them are worth stocking up on when they go on sale after their relevant holiday. Today, we’re reviewing The Lamb Lush bath bomb.
Because lambs are… the third most Easter-y animal.
It’s Mother’s Day next week (in case you’re not aware) and if you’re looking for a really indulgent gift, then Lush is a safe bet for most. I love a lot of their stuff and will often treat myself to a long soak with a Lush bath bomb to try and wash the day away. So, with the big day in mind, Lush have launched their latest range of limited edition bath bombs for Mother’s Day and Easter. But, are they any good? More importantly, are they a worthy gift for your amazing mum?
Well I’ve bought it, bathed in it, and the results are in.

We’re a proper official looking outfit now. I always used to love business cards when I was a kid… if I ever saw any on a desk, I’d rob a whole bunch of them and just mess around with them. In my eyes, they were the epitome of cool and a surefire sign that you have made it. Granted, I was a weird child that found fun in unusual objects, but that doesn’t take away from how excited I am that the guys at Aura Print have kitted us out with these bad boys!
Regular readers of our blog will know that Mr Duxbury is very difficult to please. When I told him that we were getting business cards, he audibly scoffed. People still do that apparently. That was until I unwrapped them. Impressed doesn’t really cover it and I later learned that he nabbed a few to show off to his colleagues at work. It takes quite a lot to impress my husband to that extent, but these guys definitely pulled that off.
So, Christmas is coming.
There, I said it. You have to start coming to terms with it eventually. I’m trying to be very organised this year, given the uncertainty of my upcoming redundancy, I need to make sure I am properly prepared. That being said, I bought my first Christmas present a couple of weeks ago and to be honest, I think it’s going to be pretty hard to top these personalised cufflinks.
I absolutely love personalised presents. So when thinking about what to get for certain members of our family, I knew that for Wes’ Dad, I wanted something personalised from Short Rib. He lives in the north of Scotland, so we don’t see him very often at all. I thought it would be nice to get him something from our boy whilst he’s still super small.
A three woman band of Fiona, Greta and Jenni and they make the most AMAZING stuff which is personalised with handprints, footprints or just text of your choice. So when I stumbled across their cufflinks, I was super sold.
