Easter’s here and that means yet more limited edition bath bombs from Lush. Who knew you could bathe in so many symbols of this time of year? A lot of people have their favourite bath bombs and like to stick with them, which is why I’m reviewing as many of these limited release items as I can. I like to see if any of them are worth stocking up on when they go on sale after their relevant holiday. Today, we’re reviewing The Lamb Lush bath bomb.
Because lambs are… the third most Easter-y animal.
Christmas is my favourite time of year. Bar none. No scrooging in this house – our tree is up, we’ve already started the shopping and the wrapping and I don’t even mind the odd Christmas song in the shops. Bring it on I say! All I want now is a bit of snow!
As you can imagine, we’re going to get very, very festive on this blog over the next month or so, but we’re beginning with a general overview of the festive season in our house. This is a quiz all about my Christmas favourites… the songs, the food and the fun activities we get up to. This is really the first Christmas where Short Rib has been properly aware of what’s going on, so it’s heading to be the most exciting one yet!
So we’re now well into 2017 (five days, that’s well in) and it’s already lulling us into the same false sense of security that 2016 managed for all of two weeks. There aren’t going to be any big elections so that’s at least one thing we can rest easy about, but that doesn’t mean I trust 2017 yet. I don’t.
With everyone posting their New Years’ hopes and wishes, I’m taking a slightly different turn with it. I’m not into having hopes and making wishes, because that’s not forceful enough. With a little sod of a year like 2016 over and done with, we need to start making statements, and showing this year who’s boss. With that said; 2017, here are my demands.
For a decent proportion of us, Christmas means it’s Secret Santa season. Like a lottery of giving that almost inevitably disappoints. Given that I’ve been the victim of really disappointing Secret Santa rounds (I’ve been forgotten about once!) I’ve decided to take the hard work out of it by providing you guys with a fool-proof guide to awesome Secret Santa gifts for under £10.
